My Travel Adventures

I knew that I would develop a love for traveling when I told my kindergarten teacher that I wanted to go to the moon. These days I enjoy visiting far off places around the world, but just not too far.  Some of my favorite quotes of all time touches on not only my outlook on how I like to live my life but on my passion for travel.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. ~ Mark Twain
I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world. ~ Mary Anne Radmacher
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. ~ Maya Angelou

In 1993, I traveled to Europe for the first time and have been traveling more regularly since 2005. My main passion is visiting Europe and I have visited such amazing places as Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, UK (including London and Scotland), Portugal, France and Switzerland.  I have also been to Argentina and Peru in South America and also loved it.
While I continue to build this website to include my trip reports (from my Trekcapri Blog), you can read my Live Blogging Posts by clicking on the action buttons.

In 2012, I visited South America for the first time.  I spent 3 weeks based in the amazing city of Buenos Aires. I did two overnight Day trips to see the Perito Moreno Glacier (in Patagonia) and Iguazu Falls. I also did a day trip to the country of Uruguay, which is only a 45 minute ferry ride away.  It was an amazing trip.

2006 My Solo Return To Europe Adventures

In 2006, I went on my first independent Solo Trip to Europe visting the Czech Republic (Prague & Cesky Krumlov), Austria (Salzburg & Halstatt) and Germany (Munich). With the help of Pauline Kenny (owner of Slow Europe and founder of Slow Travel/SlowTalk) and a group of fellow passionate Travelers who prefer slow traveling, I planned out my own itinerary (logistics, sights to see and all the trip preparations) all on my own and had an amazing time!
